Today we’d like to introduce you to Eboni Yahudah. She shared her their story with us below:
EBONI YAHUDAH, is a Content Creator, Graphic Designer, and Holistic Practitioner. She is the Founding Director of Lantern Mindsets, a network organization focused on wellness and cooperation economics. The network produces and promotes events and learning opportunities.
She is the Owner and Principal Designer of Be Light Media LLC (Woman Owned, and Black Owned and Operated), a full-service digital agency whose mission is to offer web and communications support to other small business owners, artists, and social entrepreneurs.
She is the Marketing Communications Manager at Urban Foli Djembe Djembe Orchestra Performing Arts, Inc. a musical theater performance group that expresses traditional African drumming and dance bridged with contemporary sound and movements in support of all peoples in the community.
She is a graduate of the Baltimore School of Massage and became a Registered Massage Therapist. She is pursuing Usui Holy Fire II Reiki certifications.
She has served on the planning committee for the Baltimore Rhythm Festival since 2015. She currently serves as one of the festival’s core team members.
Eboni is a devoted wife and mother of two.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
In 2016, I stepped away from corporate America to work in the wellness industry and the social sector. After leaving a high-paying job, I took an unpaid internship at Strong City Baltimore, Community Economic Development, and enrolled in massage school.
After receiving my massage license, I was awarded a Baltimore Corps Fellowship and began working full-time at Baltimore City Public Schools, Office of Communications.
The past 6 years have been dedicated to learning more about Baltimore City and how I can use my passion to positively impact the city and beyond.

I am a motivated communications professional, business owner, and visionary. I am the owner and Principal Designer at Be Light Media, which is a Full-Service Digital Design Firm.
My personal mission is to be a light and resource to my community and I strive to offer my gifts and talents, to my nonprofit Lantern Mindsets, as well as the ones I serve.
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
I am the Project Manager for DesignFest 2023, a resource offered in partnership by TRowe Price and MICA.
