Hi Daequan, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I Started Actually Trying To Write Music When I Was 14 I Grew Up Listening To People Like Lil Wayne,Erykah Badu, OutKast,Nas, List Go’s On I Grew Up On MTV Jams. Me & My Big Brother Taevon Aka (Stunna Mirno) Used To Watch The Music Videos And Pretend We Were Performing Too Them Like They Were Our Songs. Growing Up Being The Youngest Of My Moms Kids I Seen A lot Was Taught A lot At a young age that’s where my maturity comes from. I Never Actually Thought I Would Rap or Make Music My Brother Was Doing That With his Friends That Was his thing I just used too admire how he really could spit they used to freestyle in my sister basement him OGjohngotti, Peedykrack these are all up and coming Baltimore artist with there own story’s but from There this is when i began to wanna make music. It all starts in that basement with those freestyles.
I Think also the way I was brought up plays a part in my sound the deaths of some of my closest loved ones The streets, my daughter these are all the things that shapes my music & sound today. Most Of My R&B or melodic songs are really inspired by that southern sound that Andre 3000 brought to the game but when I tap into that soul sound that’s that Ms.Badu songs like You Got Me,Chronomentrophobia, Those Songs Where My Early Playlist Growing Up & still stick with me till this day.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Loosing family friends being betrayed by people I gave so much too it’s been a real bumpy road no real support system at first until I just know I have a gift I’m one of the greats this train don’t stop for nobody I got a people too feed
