Today we’d like to introduce you to Breonna Jones.
Breonna, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Starting my graphic design business at a young age has been just as stressful as any other business, but with stress comes success, accomplishments, & consistency! Throughout my many years of designing graphics for businesses & etc., I’ve learned many different skills & what techniques works best for me. I believe this is my gift in life; I am very talented to be just sixteen & I would love to go really far with my business. After high school, I plan to become a freelance graphic designer and to make that happen, I am now in a graphic design course at Baltimore Design School!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, it hasn’t been a smooth road. There have been many doubts in being successful with my business. I have came to myself many times saying that I should just give up because of carry low clientele which caused me to not be consistent with promoting my business. Over time, I had to learn that all of this comes with growing a small business! It takes time to have consistent & returning clinicians, but it’s all about building relationships with your clients & making sure you the right audience.

I am a sixteen-year-old graphic designer. I go by “GfxByBree,” & I specialize in business graphics such as logo, event flyers, branding graphics, &, etc.! I also make menus, price lists, invitations websites, anything you name. I am a very creative person when it comes to my business & being outgoing, but all while incorporating minimalism for business graphics. I am most proud of my websites because they are extremely tedious & hard to work with, but I always get the job done! I also love to do the small graphics, such as birthdays invitations & flyers, which are my favorite type of graphics to create.
