Today we’d like to introduce you to The Patron Project.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?

Thank you for the opportunity to introduce The Patron Project to your readers.
The Patron Project is led by a volunteer advocacy team in the Medical Medium© Community*. We assist severely chronically ill individuals (known as our receivers) to receive monthly income so they can afford natural healing foods, supplements, and living expenses.
The power of the project is due to the community coming together as a unified force. We are not looking for large one time charitable donations. We set it up so patrons can offer small amounts such $5 or $20 each month on a site called Patreon.com. Each receiver has their own individual account. We simply direct people to it.
The project’s greatest success is that we have created a consistent flow of financial security for the chronically ill receivers, and because the amounts are so small, giving doesn’t feel like a financial strain on the patrons.
Healing the Medical Medium way means the receivers are choosing fruits, vegetables, herbs, and wild foods as their medicine. It takes extreme amounts of discipline, dedication, and a willingness to “be different” to heal the root cause of chronic illness symptoms this way. It means making all homemade meals, spending hours every morning, afternoon, and evening in the kitchen, tripling the grocery bill, all while battling life threatening symptoms. The Patron Project acknowledges and values the hard work it takes to heal as the full time job it is.
At the time of this article, we currently serve chronically ill individuals in 7 countries including USA, Canada, Nigeria, Germany, England, Portugal, and Sweden.
The project was started by myself in Maryland, and I was later joined by my co-founder, Theresa, living in Germany, and my virtual assistant, Martina, living in Slovakia. This project is so personally important to this volunteer team because each of us have struggled with our own chronic illnesses, and so our compassion for those we serve runs quite deep. The motivation that keeps us going is knowing that when you’re so sick that you can’t get out of bed to even feed yourself, it is asking too much to then worry about having enough money for your food or how to pay rent the next month.
I became partially housebound due to life-threatening asthma, head to toe eczema, sinusitis, and 10+ other symptoms that I suffered from since childhood. In 2019, I had to close down my business and I lost all steady income. By the end of 2023, however, I was slowly coming back to life after consistently applying Anthony William’s Medical Medium tools. As I saw my exciting healing progress, I promised myself that once I was feeling well enough, I would help others like me who were going through similar health and financial challenges.
Thus, the Patron Project was born.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Great question. The two most difficult obstacles we face is that:
1) We daily witness the suffering of those chronically individuals we serve.
Like I was, our receivers are either partially or fully bed bound from severely debilitating symptoms. They are much too ill to work, and in some cases, do not have the physical ability to complete tasks such as filling out an application required to receive disability assistance. Some have applied, but were denied. Several of our receivers have no support system whatsoever, and have even been shunned and ridiculed by their families for trying to heal their symptoms with natural foods. What is most difficult to observe is that these chronically ill individuals have only turned to Medical Medium tools because they already spent years going from doctor to doctor, talking with specialists, doing treatments, surviving surgeries, and taking medication, all with no lasting results. We have been told by receivers that The Patron Project is their last hope, and we take that very seriously.
2) We wish to do more to ease their burden.
At the time of this article, the amount that each receiver is getting paid ranges from $750 to $100 a month. The Patron Project team advocates on social media for all of our receivers, and patrons who follow us choose what individual they want to support. For example, a 19 year old young woman living in Brooklyn, New York saw her health significantly deteriorate after the use of a copper IUD. She soon after started experiencing conditions that led to her inability to work and barely leave the house. We began advocating for her, and she is currently receiving $134 a month. She couldn’t be more grateful for the generosity of her current patrons. We also know that there is no way she can live off this amount. As a result, she has had to accept a living situation with very undesirable conditions, and she is forced to spend her valuable energy posting on instagram asking for donations so she can eat. She dreams of one day being a mother, becoming a health coach, and owning her own home where she can garden. Instead she is experiencing a long list of symptoms that keep her bed bound in the prime of her life. She continues to apply Medical Medium tools and knows she is healing the root cause of her conditions, but it takes time. The next milestone goal we have for her is that 50 people will sign up as her patron for $20 a month. She would then receive $1,000 a month and could experience a level of rest and mental ease as she continues her commitment to heal.

To answer this question, I’d love for you to imagine a new culture where the most chronically ill individuals in our community no longer have to worry about money because they receive income every month. They aren’t weak or lazy. They are very sick, and healing from illness is their full time job.
So instead of worrying about whether there is enough income for the job they need to do to heal, we make it possible for them to focus their valuable energy on deep healing. What sets us apart from other charitable work is that this is not a non-profit organization. Recipients are paid actual income to heal. Neither I, nor my team ever sees or touches a cent of the money. The only exchange that occurs goes directly from the patron’s bank account straight to the receiver.
The Patron Project is also based on a model in which everyone involved receives something:
-Businesses who partner with us receive new customers, free marketing, referrals and all discounts from the other companies involved.
-Patrons who give a chronically ill individual $20 a month or more receive discounts from those businesses.
-Individuals with chronic illnesses (the receivers) receive monthly patronage as income and can afford to purchase groceries, pay for rent, and other living expenses.
Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.

Introducing the Patron Project to the public was a risk due to the fact that we are not a non-profit organization, and do not plan to be. We understand it takes a considerable amount of explanation, education, and building relationships of trust for any community to embrace a new kind of model when helping others.
The project is also a risk from the patron’s point of view. When a good-hearted person gives a one time donation to a 501(c)3 charitable organization, the transaction is then done and complete. When, however, that same person feels inspired to sign up with the Patron Project and gives a chronically ill individual $5 or $20 a month to be seen as income, they are creating a relationship of faith and trust with someone they’ve never personally met. They become invested in their healing journey and must be patient, knowing that healing the root cause of chronic illness using Medical Medium tools takes patience. They are saying they believe in that individual’s ability to heal. Their monthly financial offering can still be considered a risk, however, because they don’t know how long the journey will take.
What considerably lowers the risks to participate is that patrons can cancel their patronage anytime. We acknowledge our patrons for any amount of time they choose to cheer someone along on their journey. Every act of kindness here is immersed in deep compassion and true love. Our patrons know that the receivers they are investing in are not charity cases. They are healing warriors who are going through their dark night of the journey. When they emerge, watch out world. These receivers are currently walking through fire, but will rise on the other side as some of the strongest souls on Earth.
