Today we’d like to introduce you to Stacy Brown.
Hi Stacy, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
Style Luxe Weddings was birthed right before the pandemic in 2019. It wasn’t until 2020 that we went full force into wedding planning and design. Initially, we began designing small gatherings such as birthday parties, baby showers, and many other events but I secretly craved to do more.
Weddings are special to me. Not only because I experienced the thrill of planning my very own wedding, but because I really do LOVE LOVE. I know, I know! It sounds so cliché. But I enjoy experiencing first hand the love that people have for each other and I wanted to be a part of helping them celebrate that. Which is why I decided to focus on weddings solely.
Easily, one of the best decisions I’ve ever made!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Being in the wedding industry hasn’t been a smooth road but anything worth having is worth fighting for. There are so many amazing wedding planners in the DMV area which makes competition tough but I stand sturdy in the belief that there’s something special about Style Luxe Weddings.
Every wedding is unique and because of this, it can be hard to label yourself as an expert. This industry requires that you bend mold and adapt to the changes of the wedding seasons but at the end of the day, I couldn’t see myself in any other field. Seriously a dream job.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am the lead planner & designer of Style Luxe Weddings. I work with my couples hand in hand throughout the planning journey until after they say “I DO”. I am most proud of how many amazing clients that we’ve worked with and continue to work with. Each unique love story just warms my heart and I am happy that we get to celebrate love with them.
I believe what sets Style Luxe Weddings apart is our ability to hear and understand what our clients want and how we uniquely tailor each wedding to showcase their love story.
What are your plans for the future?
In the future, we’re looking forward to hopefully moving into a showroom to better assist our clients and have a home that speaks to the identity of Style Luxe.
