Conversations with Jen Hoffman

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jen Hoffman

Hi Jen, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My own health issues and a search for deeper meaning in life lead me here. In my 20’s I started receiving health diagnoses that are considered incurable in modern medicine. By 25 years old (and pre-children), I was developing varicose veins that lead to surgical removal. I was passing out in public places, yet all medical testing and labs came back normal. I was told by professionals to just “not stress so much.” Fast forward to becoming a mother in my 30’s, I experienced a new level of health crises. On my healing journey, I have found that taking my health into my own hands through making conscious lifestyle changes and embracing spiritual practices, such as meditation and energy healing, has been the solution in creating internal wholeness, stability and joy back into my body and my life. I am beyond grateful that I get to share these gifts of healing with others!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, it has not always been a smooth road. Before creating my business, I was working as a quality engineer in Corporate America. I actually went to school for Chemical Engineering and have worked in both various industries and roles bef0re starting bodySoul Nourishment. Over the years, many (people) in my personal life have questioned my career path changes and choices. Yet, I do not see the changes, shifts and career exploration as a struggle. I see them as a diverse foundation of my personal evolution of Self and business, enabling me to better serve myself, my clients and those around me. I have learned so much along the way! And to be honest, sometimes I didn’t have a choice in the career choices I made. I either had to choose myself – my own health, well-being and my heart – or I would suffer the consequences of serving something I did not believe in. Those consequences usually translated to poor health and my body’s suffering.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
My mission is to serve and support women who are looking for answers, clarity and guidance while moving through health and life transitions. I believe we can transform our pain, stress and struggles into empowering breakthroughs – and – usually those pains can guide us to the medicine we are meant to share with others in our lives.

I offer a multi-faceted approach to wholistic healing and self-discovery by blending and bridging the wisdom of both the body and Soul. I am a certified integrative nutrition coach, certified usui holy fire reiki master teacher and intuitive reader working with the Akashic Records. The services I offer range from energy healing sessions for physical and emotional healing to Soul connection in an Akashic Records reading, as well as grounded approaches in holistic health via nutritional coaching and stress management. I specialize in supporting women in their 20’s-50’s, as well as moms and moms-to-be for prenatal and postpartum wellness care.

Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
Books that have deeply touched me and changed me are: The Alchemist by Paulo Coehlo, The Untethered Soul by Michael Singer and Atlas of the Heart by Brene Brown. I also was deeply changed by the work of Dr. Joe Dispenza and have participated in some of his online and live conferences and trainings.
