Conversations with Dr. Eric Holmes

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dr Eric Holmes.

Hi Dr. Eric, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I moved to Baltimore 28 years ago and started a career at Johns Hopkins, where I have been for the last 25 years. I began to understand my purpose after joining my church, Beth-el temple. After finishing school after 5 years with my Doctorate in Christian Education. I then started on the radio, writing my first book, the power of the seed, then my second book. My next season is due. I also co-authored four books and opened my Dr. Eric L Holmes Enterprise LLC

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
In life comes struggles but lead to great purpose. On the journey, you will endure many things, but the good will outweigh the bad you endure and stay the course.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a 25-year-old essential employee at Johns Hopkins Hospital, where I have been in several departments. I have received every award from the highest, The Edward Halle Award. I love my job and working in Healthcare. I’m proud to know I’m in the customer service video for human resources. Also, I am the Ambassador for the John Hopkins Leadership Academy. Then proud that I finished at the John’s Hopkins Carey Business School. But in all, I’m making a difference.

So maybe we end by discussing what matters most to you and why?
What matters most is making a difference and impact in the lives of others. And it’s essential to leave a great legacy.
