Today we’d like to introduce you to Amanda Arbogast.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
In 2013, I had my first daughter Haylee not long after I started my career path in the HVAC industry. I was a single mom trying to do the best I could. Honestly, when I took the HVAC office Manager position in 2014 I never expected it to be my career path. Fast forward to 2016 I rekindled with my husband Denny and we welcome my 2nd daughter “Harleigh” into the world in 2017. October 2019, we got married! All during this time, I stayed in the HVAC industry I had went from office manager to general manager. Today I am the general manager at Beltway Air Conditioning & Heating located in Hanover Maryland serving primarily Anne Arundel County, Howard County, Baltimore County/City, and prince Georges county! When I was younger I truly wanted to go to college but it wasn’t in my cards to do that. Today I have no regrets of not going to college I learned hands-on how to run a company & make it profitable.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It was not smooth always. Starting out in my career as a single mom was not easy. Some way some how I always seemed to figure it out. My husband Denny was truly my knight in shining armor. I have no regrets because it has shaped me who I am today.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
General Manager at Beltway Air Conditioning & Heating. My day at Beltway consists of watching KPI’s and figuring out ways to make the company more profitable.
In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
Right now I am content with where I am in life but the world never ceases to not amaze me.
