Today we’d like to introduce you to Adriana Castro

Hi Adriana, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I first decided to get my license because the father of my son dedicated his time fixing up properties, he’s an investor. He then gave me the idea to get my license to ideally help him list the properties, once I was able to obtain my license, already having the background on investing and wholesaling I decided to add that value onto my investor clients and then I was able to grow with first time home buyers looking for a finished product home.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No it has not been a smooth road, I don’t believe something great comes with smooth roads, no one is perfect. The struggles I faced in the beginning of my career was actually obtaining clients, due to being young in the industry and being so new to it. I didn’t let that discourage me. I took the time to educate myself in every niche possible to confidently speak to my clients and answer any questions they may have.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a full time realtor in Maryland and Pennsylvania. I specialize in working with investors and first time home buyers. I’m known for helping both my Spanish and English clients. I have been able to help my Spanish community obtain home ownership when they thought it would be impossible.

I am very diligent and honest. I believe communication is very important and do not leave my clients in the dark. I will work with them through it all even after closing. I don’t see it as a transaction I see it as a new relationship created.

What does success mean to you?
I believe I define success when I have gained multiple referrals from past clients. Receiving positive reviews and feedbacks from not only clients but friends. I also see success as being able to accomplish all my goals in the timeframe that I have decided. Also, being able to expand my brand and presence in the industry.
