Hi Wendy, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself
My first introduction and love for the beauty industry started back in High School where I study and became a Licensed Cosmetologist. This is where I found out that how an individual looks, help with their overall well-being. Fast forward to 2017 I received training in Noninvasive Body Contouring… This spark that same fire in me that I had back in 1980s.
When I attended cosmetology school. The feeling is so fulfilling to know that providing a service can be so rewarding. My business has open me up to meeting thousands of amazing women some of them I have befriended while others I personally had a hand in helping them with their body image goals.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
For the most part, my road in starting my business was smooth, the reason I say that is because I believe in staying in my lane… Treating people with kindness, being professional and Good Customer Service. The most challenging part for me when I began my business was (Social media)… Going from never having any social media account to needing it to conduct Business. As my business began to grow, I have had to hire other professionals for their expertise. To keep things to run smoothly.
We’ve been impressed with Tighten Body Bar, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
At Tighten Body Bar, we specialize in Noninvasive Body Contouring Treatments. And we also Teach other how to Become License Noninvasive Body Contour Practitioner. Our courses are accredited… Tighten Body Bar-is a business that is positioned and dedicated to proving a place where beauty, knowledge, comfort and personalized attention is combined to create a totally memorable and rejuvenating experience for women.
What set us apart from other company who do the same type of work are our RESULTS. We get amazing results for our clients using non-invasive body treatments.
What make me the most proud is when I have a new client come in and say they were referred to me by multiple people, or when I train a student and they informed me that they received their by someone else.. However, they weren’t getting results and was informed they should take Tighten Body Bar class. As Tighten Body Bar continuously growing, we focus on maintaining our core value that focus on , peace wellness and superior customer service.

The crisis has affected us all in different ways. How has it affected you and any important lessons or epiphanies you can share with us?
As for Covid-19, it didn’t teach me, however, it confirmed for me that nothing is a guarantee.
