Community Highlights: Meet Josh Bair of Limitless and Transform U

Today we’d like to introduce you to Josh Bair.

Hi Josh , can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
First and foremost, I’m a follower of Jesus, a husband, and a father. My journey really started in ministry, where I spent years leading youth and young adults and eventually serving in executive pastoral leadership.

Along the way, I started exploring other passions, building a media and branding company, launching a podcast, coaching, and creating spaces centered around purpose, growth, and creativity. Each of those experiences taught me something different about people, leadership, communication, and building community.

But through all of it, I carried a burden to create a church for people who still wanted God but may have felt disconnected from traditional church. That burden became Limitless Nights, a series of gatherings in Baltimore that eventually grew into something much bigger.

Today, my wife and I are planting Limitless Church, a brand-new church launching in Baltimore on September 13, 2026. Looking back, I can see how every part of the journey, ministry, business, creativity, and leadership—helped prepare me for what we’re building now.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, it hasn’t been a smooth road, but it’s definitely been worth it. Anytime you’re building something you’ve never built before, especially when you’re willing to take an unconventional path, you have to be prepared for challenges, uncertainty, and a few waves along the way.

I’ve had to learn how to stay flexible without losing the vision, how to keep moving when things don’t go according to plan, and how to trust the process even when I couldn’t see the full picture. Those challenges have stretched me, but they’ve also made me a better leader and builder.

As you know, we’re big fans of Limitless and Transform U. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
The two brands that best represent my work right now are Limitless and Transform U.

Limitless is a faith-based community and church movement focused on helping people discover who God created them to be, find meaningful community, and live with purpose. What sets it apart is the way we blend faith, creativity, culture, and community in a way that feels fresh and accessible.

Transform U is my podcast and personal development platform, where I talk about mindset, leadership, purpose, faith, and becoming the best version of yourself.

What I’m most proud of is that both brands are built around transformation. Whether through a church experience, a conversation, or a podcast episode, the goal is the same: help people grow, think differently, and move forward with purpose.

How do you think about luck?
I probably wouldn’t call it luck as much as timing. I think part of being a visionary is recognizing a window of opportunity and having the courage to move when you see it. I stepped into spaces where I felt there was a gap and tried to build something that met people where they were.

Maybe the lucky part is that people have connected with what we’ve created. But I also believe you have to be prepared when the opportunity shows up. Timing matters, but so does being willing to seize it.
