Community Highlights: Meet Gina Casbarro

Today we’d like to introduce you to Gina Casbarro.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Growing up, my mind was not always a friendly place. I was often racked with self-doubt and feelings of insecurity, anxiety and self-judgment. No matter what I had “accomplished” I often couldn’t escape the mind drama that was going on in my head telling me I wasn’t enough, I would never succeed, and would never belong.

To help free myself from this, I dove into any tools and practices I could get my hands on that helped lessen the grip of limiting beliefs. My explorations led me to books like “A New Earth”, to becoming a certified yoga teacher, to personal & leadership development courses, and eventually to lululemon where I learned the power of coaching and goal-setting.

While this personal development journey definitely helped free me up, I eventually realized… mindset is just one piece of the puzzle.

In order to create lasting transformation, it’s important that EVERYTHING you surround yourself with aligns with your truest goals and values. That’s when I discovered feng shui. This powerful practice taught me how to work with energy and intention and create spaces that nourish and propel you towards your goals.

Once I discovered these tools that helped me move past limiting beliefs, embrace my unique self and live a life I was LIT UP by, I knew I had to share them with others.

Now, as a certified Life Designer™ coach and feng shui consultant, I get to help my clients elevate their mindset, lifestyle & environment so they can follow their spark and live their most authentic, inspired life.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Definitely not! LOL. The journey of entrepreneurship brought me face to face with whatever doubts and insecurities I still hadn’t transformed. At times, I got caught up comparing myself to other business owners and trying to figure out how to do things the “RIGHT” way. I’m finally letting go of doing things the right way and focusing on running my business in a way that feels right TO ME.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Personally, what’s most important to me is to constantly be learning, growing, and following my spark so I can live my fullest, most self-expressed, authentic life. One where I’m able to move past self-imposed limitations and go after my wildest dreams. What fuels me in my business is supporting others to do the same!

To those that know me, whether friends or clients, they know I always make space for reflection, possibility, connection and growth. I will always see you as your highest self and lovingly hold you accountable for showing up as who you want to be. And whether over a meal or on a coaching call, I make space for gratitude and celebration because life isn’t about CHASING goals, it’s about enjoying the journey along the way.

In the work that I do with clients, I offer 1:1 packages of life coaching, feng shui, or a combination of both. What makes my work unique is that it’s a holistic approach that creates life-changing shifts on every level. Elevating these three layers – mindset, lifestyle & environment – allows my clients to have breakthroughs in what’s been holding them back for years and feel totally empowered to manifest their dreams.

What I’m most proud of is that I strive to be an example of what I encourage my clients to do every day – to move past what holds you back and go after what lights your soul on fire. I’m currently on a year long road trip traveling around the USA following my spark and connecting with others who are doing the same. My aim is to share stories, insights, lessons and wisdom along the way to encourage and inspire others to live the life of their dreams. Check out the website here to learn more about this trip:

Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
When I was first starting out, I wish I knew that spending time cultivating a positive, empowered mindset is just as important, if not MORE than, having a strong strategy, an amazing website and all the other to-dos you think of when starting a business. Once I decided that I was going to spend as much time and energy training my mindset as I would training my body as if I was running a marathon, things started to shift.

It’s easy to get caught up in and spend hours and hours planning and doing all the things, but if you don’t believe in yourself and your services, it’s going to be a long, uphill climb.

What helped me tremendously was surrounding myself with like-minded entrepreneurs and communities that helped me elevate my mindset, have faith in myself and lift me up. Whether that’s a group of friends, a mastermind, a coach or another business community, I recommend finding a group of people you can turn to who can encourage and inspire you along your business journey!
