Community Highlights: Meet Erin Bennett of The Bronzed Babe

Today we’d like to introduce you to Erin Bennett.

Hi Erin , we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Absolutely! I started The Bronzed Babe in 2023. I’ve always had a passion for beauty and helping people feel confident in their own skin, and spray tanning felt like the perfect way to combine those interests. When I launched, I focused on offering personalized, high-quality tans and creating an experience where clients feel comfortable and taken care of from start to finish.

Over time, word-of-mouth and social media helped my business grow, and I’ve continued expanding my services and skills to better serve my clients. It’s been such a rewarding journey so far, and I’m excited about the future of The Bronzed Babe and all the ways I can keep elevating the experience for my clients!

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road—it wasn’t easy by any means. I worked full-time in healthcare while starting my business, and there were plenty of very hard days juggling long hours, physical and mental exhaustion, and trying to grow The Bronzed Babe at the same time.

There were moments of self-doubt, and it was challenging figuring it all out while building a steady clientele from scratch. But I always had my dream and goal in mind, and that’s what pushed me to keep going. I knew I wanted to create something of my own and help people feel confident and beautiful. That vision made all the long days and sacrifices worth it.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
The Bronzed Babe LLC is all about luxury spray tans and helping people feel confident and beautiful. I customize each tan to my client’s unique skin tone and lifestyle, ensuring natural-looking results. I’ve also added permanent jewelry, offering clients a fun, personalized experience.

What sets me apart is the personal touch—I focus on building real connections and making every appointment feel special. I’m also proud to mentor other artists, sharing what I’ve learned to help them succeed. At The Bronzed Babe, it’s about more than just services—it’s about helping people shine inside and out.

Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
My biggest advice is to put yourself out there and connect with people genuinely. Social media has been huge for me—not just for promoting my business, but for finding other artists and entrepreneurs to learn from and share ideas with. Don’t be afraid to ask questions or reach out to someone whose work you admire; most people are happy to help or share their experiences.

Also, attend industry events or local networking groups whenever you can. Building real relationships takes time, but it’s worth it. And remember, a mentor doesn’t always have to be someone officially “assigned” to you—it can be anyone who inspires you, offers guidance, or helps you see things from a new perspective.
