Hi Edward, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
As a dog-owner with a full-time job and non-traditional work hours, I needed help with my pups… I was so disappointed in the quality of care and follow through available at the time after using some local services… My pups were goofy, fun-loving, and not entirely dog-friendly so I needed more specialized care… I had zero luck getting anyone to do what I needed without some weird caveat or exception that needed to be considered… ALSO, there was no help for petowners outside of the midday/early afternoon scheduling window… I knew there were other families that needed the same because I was already walking the dogs of select friends for free! I had no easy time saying “no” and got predictably overwhelmed at one point… To relieve the pressure I’d put on myself, I told everyone I’d been helping there’d be a new fee for my time… Surprisingly, everyone responded with “No problem, how much?” and I was suddenly committed to providing a premium service for real clients… CITYWIDE PETS started in 2006 as a side-hustle and scaled to full-time operation several years later… After rebranding eight years ago as ANGELFACE PETS, we’ll celebrate 20 years of service in April!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I’m very particular about our team so we’ve been fortunate with regard to personnel… Covid was a curveball none of us expected, and changed the nature of ALL work forever, it seems…

We offer daily dogwalking in petsitting in Baltimore City throughout the year… Also, we guarantee honesty, consistency, and accountability to ensure our petowners have peace of mind AND maximum value for the service we provide…
We’re known for our availability, flexibility, and exclusivity… Visits are arranged with our handler and the particular household’s dogs so you’ll never see us attached to more than three leashes at a time…We focus on safety & fun while decreasing liability… Of course, we also support our owners with their scaled, feathered, and “other-furried” pets!
What sets us apart from our competitors is a trade secret I can’t disclose…
