Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrew Lindsay.
Hi Andrew, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I’ve spent nearly three decades in high-tech sales, always drawn to technology and how it can drive real business outcomes. Over the years, I worked across a range of companies and industries, but experienced a recurring pattern of buyouts, downsizing, leadership changes, and instability. That led me to move between roles more often than I would have liked, but it also gave me a broad perspective across SaaS, infrastructure, and managed services.
At one point, I decided to step out on my own and built a business focused on compliance-based lead generation for Google partners. It was successful for a couple of years, but when Google changed its compliance model, I lost that entire client base almost overnight. That pushed me back into the workforce, where I was exposed to offshore development teams and began learning how to structure and deliver web and application projects more efficiently.
After being let go during COVID due to leadership decisions, I became a Wix Partner and started taking on website projects for clients. Around the same time, I was working at Optimal Workshop, where I gained a deeper understanding of UX and design, which significantly improved how I approached digital projects.
I partnered with a small but talented development team in Bangladesh, and over time they became not just collaborators, but close partners. Shortly after purchasing a new home, I lost my role at Optimal Workshop, which was a difficult moment. I tried to rely fully on the business to sustain everything, but burned through my savings and took on debt while trying to keep things afloat.
Eventually, I joined Coras, where I spent about a year and a half. That role didn’t work out in the end, and I take responsibility for not ramping as quickly as I should have. I was let go just before the holidays without severance, which forced me to fully commit to my business.
Since then, I’ve been focused entirely on growing NuBiz Solution. Over the past two years, I’ve stabilized the business, built a strong reputation, and expanded our capabilities. While there have been financial challenges along the way, especially early on, we’re now in a position where the business is steady, growing, and taking on more complex and higher-value projects.
Today, NuBiz is evolving into a more mature digital agency with a scalable offshore team, stronger processes, and a growing client base. I’m focused on continuing that growth, refining our services, and building something sustainable long-term.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Early in my career, I dealt with a lot of instability from company buyouts, layoffs, and leadership changes. When I started my first business, I lost my entire client base almost overnight due to a change in Google’s compliance model.
More recently, I went through a tough financial period after losing my job shortly after buying a home. I tried to rely fully on the business before it was ready, which led to burning through savings and taking on debt. Even my last role didn’t work out, which forced me to fully commit to growing my business.
Overall, it’s been a challenging journey, but those experiences helped me build resilience and ultimately get to where I am today.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
NuBiz Solution is a digital agency focused on website design, development, and scalable web solutions for small to mid-sized businesses. We specialize in building high-performing websites on platforms like Wix Studio and WordPress, along with custom functionality, SEO, and ongoing support.
What sets us apart is our hybrid model. We combine strong U.S.-based client strategy and communication with a reliable offshore development team, which allows us to deliver high-quality work at a more efficient cost. We don’t just build websites, we help clients structure their digital presence in a way that supports growth, lead generation, and long-term scalability.
We’re known for being hands-on, flexible, and solution-oriented, especially when projects require custom features or integrations that go beyond basic templates. A lot of our growth has come from referrals, which speaks to the trust we’ve built with our clients.
What I’m most proud of is the reputation we’ve developed. Despite the challenges along the way, NuBiz has continued to grow, take on more complex work, and build a team that can consistently deliver. We’re at a point now where we’re not just completing projects, we’re building long-term partnerships with clients and helping them evolve their digital strategy over time.
Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
The best way to work with us is by reaching out through our website or connecting directly for a discovery call. We collaborate with businesses that need website design, development, SEO, or ongoing support, as well as agencies looking for a reliable development partner. Referrals and long-term partnerships are a big part of our growth, so we’re always open to connecting with people who align with what we’re building.
