Christian Kearson & Tia Adams shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
Good morning Christian & Tia , it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What is a normal day like for you right now?
A normal day for us is a mix of creativity, connection, and keeping things grounded. We usually start the morning with some personal rituals, whether that’s journaling, meditation, or just taking a quiet moment with coffee or tea. From there, we’re diving into podcast planning, editing, or brainstorming new ideas. Some days are heavy on recording content, other days it’s more about engaging with our community online and building with listeners. We also make time for self-care, whether that’s being outside, cooking, or just laughing with friends—because that balance is what keeps us inspired. No two days are exactly the same, but they all carry that mix of hustle, creativity, and growth.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
We’re Christian ‘Chakras’ Kearson and Natasha ‘Soul’ Adams, the voices behind the Jaded and Evolving Podcast. At our core, we’re two best friends navigating life, healing, and growth out loud while bringing our community along for the ride. What makes our brand special is the mix of real conversation, spirituality, and a cannabis-friendly space that feels like home for people who want to laugh, learn, and evolve together.
Our story started as two friends having deep talks that we realized so many others could relate to, now it’s grown into a platform where millennial women (and beyond) find community, vulnerability, and fun. Whether it’s our ‘smoke sessions,’ holistic perspectives, or just being open about the ups and downs of life, we’re working on creating a space where people can see themselves and know they’re not alone. Right now, we’re focused on expanding our reach, connecting with more listeners across YouTube and Spotify, and collaborating with other creatives who share our vision.
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
We saw each other. Before either of us fully realized our own potential, we recognized it in one another. That’s part of what makes our bond and our podcast so authentic, we’ve always reflected back the best parts of each other and pushed each other to grow, even when we couldn’t see it ourselves.
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
One of the biggest lessons we’ve learned is to charge our worth and not be afraid to walk away from the first offer. We’ve had to remind ourselves to believe in our vision more than we believe in anyone else’s opinion of it. When you hold onto that, the right opportunities and partnerships start aligning with you instead of you shrinking to fit into them.
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes, the public version of us is definitely the real us, what you see is what you get. The only difference is that on the show we turn the energy up a little. It’s still our authentic selves, just with a bit more personality so our listeners can really feel that vibe and connection through the mic.
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What do you think people will most misunderstand about your legacy?
We think the part people may misunderstand about our legacy is the cannabis portion. For us, it’s never just about smoking, it’s about creating a safe, open space for conversation, healing, and community. Cannabis is a tool we use to spark connection and honesty, but the heart of our legacy is about growth, storytelling, and building something bigger than ourselves.
