Check Out Keith C’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Keith C.

Hi Keith, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I began my journey as an entertainer in Philadelphia.

As a child, I was exposed to various types of dancing, performances, and commercials which in turn influenced my thinking and behaviors. In 2015, I attended a model casting call and thought it was all a joke, and since I’ve been told I’m handsome and that I could model. That was the most arrogant and ignorant portion of my journey, I received a “No” for all of my efforts that day.

Currently, I’ve been blessed enough to travel the country and work with a multitude of creative professionals. Many seek my teachings and allow me to direct their visions as we collaborate to breathe life into a project.

There was a time I didn’t think any of this was possible through modeling but I wasn’t even ready.
I didn’t know what it meant to “Be a model”

I didn’t give up and still to this day, I treat each opportunity as my last and absorb each lesson my career has to offer. I was and will also remain hungry for my career.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?

Throughout my career, I’ve faced many challenges. Some of the challenges were right at home, I mean inside of me. Mental health is a factor that was never mentioned to keep in check as you become your best version.

Another challenge was learning the who’s and what’s. Funny enough making sure you begin your auditions with the right energy, confidence, and foot matters. Walking into a room with your head low or not looking your best really matters and could cost you big time.

At one point my physical features were a challenge for me to make the cut. Being 5’10 many castings want taller, I would be discouraged and not even bother attending.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m Keith C, the well-rounded entertainer.

I specialize in Commercial, Print, Stock, Fitness, and Runway modeling. My work is influential and diverse. Not only am I a model, a vocalist, and an actor as well. I’m featured in national and international commercials and ads. Some for hair care products, drinks, games, and businesses.

I’m proud that my support system remains sturdy in the face of adversity, I’m proud that I’m not afraid to make mistakes in order to learn, and I’m proud that I didn’t give up on myself.

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
That’s a great question.

I’m going to leave a cliffhanger because my Father always teaches me “speak less and act more… in silence”.

I will say that my work must shift more and become better than it is. The quality and projects of my lifestyle must and are elevating to newer heights.
