Hi Shawn, thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to share your story, experiences and insights with our readers. Let’s jump right in with an interesting one: What battle are you avoiding?
I try not to argue with people about the political climate in 2025 .
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
SuperiorLuxuryStyle is a motivational lifestyle brand. At SLS we try to inspire people to excel in life in every way.
Okay, so here’s a deep one: Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
Early in life I was just like everyone else going through life trying to figure it out.
I always loved fashion but I wasn’t sure what role I would play in it. I was inspired by designers like Ralph Lauren. Now I’m fortunate to have my own brand SuperiorLuxuryStyle®️
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
During the pandemic in 2020 I wasn’t sure what to do to keep the business going. Momentarily it seemed like everything shut down and the whole world came to a standstill. I didn’t know how to promote SLS during that time.
I wasn’t sure how the world or my brand would move forward. Unfortunately a lot of small companies and brands went out of business. I’m blessed to still have a brand that I believe will be successful.
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. Is the public version of you the real you?
On social media as well as in the public people get to see a glimpse of me.
It seems like I’m very social but actually I’m an introvert who might come outside twice a week depending on the day.
Even though I enjoy meeting and networking with new people I mostly interact with close friends and family.
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
After I pass on I would love for people
to say that I might not have at it as easy
in life as others but I did my very best .
At the same time I tried to use my life and my brand to inspire others.
