Start the day in mom mode—getting the kids ready and out the door. Once I’m in the office, it’s emails, checking schedules, and handling priorities. I also carve out a few minutes to check on my thrift site, respond to customers, and post content. Just a boss mom balancing it all—gracefully.

Hi, I’m Octavia Turner, the creator of OCHELLA — a brand built on style, authenticity, and self-expression. I’m a passionate thrifter and fashion lover who turns pre-loved finds into fresh, bold looks. OCHELLA is more than a brand — it’s a vibe. Every piece I curate is handpicked with purpose, giving fashion lovers a chance to feel confident, creative, and effortlessly stylish. I’m currently growing my online presence and working on expanding into custom styling and exclusive drops.

My mom did. She always saw something powerful in me—even before I understood it myself. She believed in my strength, creativity, and heart when I was still trying to find my voice. Her encouragement pushed me to dream bigger, move with purpose, and stay grounded in who I am. Her faith in me shaped the woman I’ve become.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
You’re stronger than you think, and everything you’re going through is shaping the woman you’re becoming. Keep showing up, even when it’s hard—your light was never meant to be dimmed. One day, you’ll look back and be proud you never gave up on yourself.

I admire my mom. Her strength, compassion, and consistency shaped the way I see the world. She’s always been the kind of person who gives without expecting anything in return, stands firm in her values, and shows up for people—no matter what. Her character taught me what true grace and resilience look like, and that’s something no title or power can ever match.
