Breona , a huge thanks to you for investing the time to share your wisdom with those who are seeking it. We think it’s so important for us to share stories with our neighbors, friends and community because knowledge multiples when we share with each other. Let’s jump in: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
The first 90 minutes of my day, looks like Prayer and submission. I wake up at 5AM every day to Pray and thank Jesus for waking me up another day. I owe Him all of the Glory and praise for bringing me this far, and keeping me afloat.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Breona Briscoe is a dedicated and faith-driven young professional committed to excellence, growth, and purpose. She currently serves as a Lead Asset Protection Investigator at Walmart and is also an intern at a courthouse, where she is building meaningful connections and gaining hands-on experience toward her future career in law.

In 2021, Breona launched her own beauty brand, Breluxécollection, a lash business that reflected her creativity, discipline, and entrepreneurial spirit. Though she officially closed the business in March 2023, that chapter taught her valuable lessons about leadership, perseverance, and trusting God’s direction through every season.

Outside of work and academics, Breona focuses on traveling, education, and personal development. Above all, her life is centered on her devotion to Christ, which shapes her values and defines her purpose. She is also pursuing her passion for music as an aspiring gospel singer within her church community.

With a strong foundation of faith and determination, Breona is preparing to enter law school, with the goal of building a meaningful career rooted in justice, integrity, and service.

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What relationship most shaped how you see yourself?
The relationship that has most shaped how I see myself is my relationship with Christ. My faith has given me a true understanding of who I am and what I’m called to do. Through my relationship with Him, I’ve learned the value of discipline, humility, and perseverance. It has taught me to see myself not just through my own eyes, but through God’s — as someone with purpose, strength, and potential.

This foundation influences how I handle challenges, pursue my goals, and interact with others. It keeps me grounded, focused, and confident in the person I’m becoming. My relationship with Christ is the reason I strive for excellence in everything I do.

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering taught me lessons that success never could. It was in my hardest seasons that I truly learned what faith means — trusting God even when I couldn’t see the outcome. Through pain and disappointment, I discovered that God uses every trial to strengthen, purify, and prepare me for greater purpose.

Success can make you grateful, but suffering makes you dependent. It’s in those moments of brokenness that I’ve felt God’s presence the most — reminding me that His grace is sufficient and His plan is perfect, even when it doesn’t feel comfortable.

Suffering taught me to lean on prayer, to walk by faith and not by sight, and to let God shape my character more than my circumstances. It’s through those experiences that I became who I am today — stronger in spirit, rooted in Christ, and unshakable in faith.

Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
A belief I’m committed to, no matter how long it takes, is that God’s timing is perfect and His plan for my life will always be worth the wait. I’ve learned that growth happens in the process, not the destination, and that every season has purpose when you walk with Christ.

My long-term goal is to one day serve as a judge. I’m deeply rooted in pursuing justice and equality, but my heart behind it is different — I don’t want to lay the hammer down on people for their mistakes. I want to show compassion, offer second chances, and extend the same grace to others that God has so graciously given to me.

Whether it’s through law, ministry, or gospel music, I want my life to reflect Christ’s love and mercy. I believe God can use me to bring hope into places where people feel forgotten or condemned. No matter how long it takes, I’ll keep trusting Him, walking by faith, and preparing for the doors He will open — because what He starts, He always finishes.

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. When do you feel most at peace?
I feel most at peace when I’m in the presence of God — whether that’s in prayer, worship, or simply sitting in silence and feeling His presence surround me. There’s something about those quiet moments with Him that reminds me I don’t have to have everything figured out, because He already does.

I also feel deep peace when I’m singing gospel music at church or just worshipping on my own. It’s like everything around me fades, and it’s just me and God. Those moments remind me of who I am and how loved I am — not because of what I’ve done, but because of who He is.

Even when life feels heavy or uncertain, peace comes when I surrender it all to Him. That’s where I find rest — not in control, but in trust.
