Hi Santana, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Girlhood Journals, Is a community for girls founded by girls.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Navigating all of life’s eps & flows. Understanding what girlhood means and discovering new ways to create with those ep’s & flows, Plus *it’s not like they make ice coffee drip IVS*

Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
Ugh SO MANY! All the retro film & medias from the early 2000s!
The iconic shows obvi:

-Jersey Shore
-I love NEW YORK * as cheesy as flavor flav is*
-Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane
-MTV Cribs
– Even some of the more chessesy shows like cheaters & fear factor, were up there on that list!

I have a deep appreciation for. literature though, I enjoy read a lot of the classics from the 1920 Harlem Renaissance Era, I would say my favvv author is Maya Angelou. i find her wisdom to be loud and profound yet somehow soft.

Not to mention Art is a big medium & channel for alot of the work I tend to create. I love stepping into the roots of modern day artist, I truly believe art, books, and classic media speak to the soul,
