Rising Stars: Meet Coach Class Podcast

Today we’d like to introduce you to Coach Class Podcast. Them and their team share their story with us below:

Coach Class was started by Rich and Mike Minor. The brothers began their podcast journey in the first quarter of 2018 after conversations about starting something that could be a central hub for creative people in their area. A “coach” can be anyone who is, “Calling their own plays.” This can be an entrepreneur, chef, author, or anyone looking to make their own way. The idea was to funnel information form the guests to the audience about how they began their journey. The approach of the podcast is a natural conversation between the two brothers and guest, focused on culture and entrepreneurial endeavors, using humor in a relaxed environment. Most recently, the brothers have teamed up with PressZay to begin their journey on YouTube,

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Transitioning from an audio-only podcast to video was the biggest struggle. There was an extensive amount of planning involved with editing a visual podcast. This included lighting, recording equipment, and optimal staging selection. PressZay helped the brothers lay out a plan which led to the first release on YouTube in early December 2021.

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
We’ve learned to not rush the process. Originally the coaches looked to rush their release of video. Through conference calls and meetings, a plan was laid out to methodically release video and the plan worked out tremendously. It has been awesome to see the growth. Accountability was something the brothers were instilled with early in their childhood. It continues to be a theme they look to bring up in their shows.
