Meet Joesph Erdossy

Today we’d like to introduce you to Joesph Erdossy.

Hi Joesph, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
I first dabbled with photography around late 2018 early 2019 at the time I was taking photos in the various video games that I play. Since I didn’t have a camera at the time. Back then I would set up scenes or take photos of what I thought was interesting in my games. Then in the summer of 2019, I got my first real camera a Canon PowerShot SX420 IS. Once I had my first camera I started to document the world around me. One of the big things that help me get to where I am today is the encouragement of my family, friends, my teachers, and all of the others I have met along the way.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road that I have traveled so far in photography has been a somewhat smooth road. Though as I had expected it has had some bumps along the way. A first it was a little rough balancing my photography and school work. Then when the Pandemic hit it introduced a whole new set of challenges such as the cancelation of some things I was to photograph. In retrospect, the road I have traveled thus far has helped me get to where I am today.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
With the photos I take I try to share information about what is in the photo or to use the photos to tell a story. For example, there is a small railroad in my area that doesn’t seem to vary well documented. So I started to take pictures of their rail equipment and share some information about them.

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
I would say one of the most important qualities to my success has been my determination.
