Today we’d like to introduce you to Jacqueline Kuntzman.
Hi Jacqueline, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I am a mom and a full-time student. I also work part-time. When covid hit, it was hard everything stopped kids didn’t go to school and all classes went to online. The dental office I worked at closed and so I needed something to make extra money so I thought hey, start a business. At first, I thought soaps because with covid washing hands and soap was a demand. Then I was like, well people are home a lot now and they are doing stuff to work on their homes and candles are a nice smell and decor. So that’s how I got started and I love what I do and never looked back. My plan is to run a business and still go to school. One day I wasn’t to own a storefront and work in a hospital as a radiation therapist. Thats what I’m going to school for.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Covid kids school being a mom life in general has been a struggle. But I’m strong and I bet addiction and being a single teen mom so I can do this too.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m most proud of the fact I didn’t stop. I didn’t let negative remarks from family and friends telling me I can’t do this affect me. My kids see a mom who works hard loves them and goes to school and I teach them nothing can stop you if you work for it. I also even added more then candles and soaps to my business. I sell online and I go to events to sell so I started making accessories and cups and other things…I have always loved art and being creative and I can do this now with my business.

Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
My childhood I don’t like to talk about. My parents are wonderful but we grew up broke and lived in the city and as a family went thru a lot.
