Meet Devin Adams of De Lux’e Brand

Today we’d like to introduce you to Devin Adams.

Alright, thank you for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us how you got started?
I grew up in an era where fashion was everything. I would work hard for 2 weeks to get paid and buy clothes from the hottest brands. I was a major Ralph Lauren fanatic. I got hooked early; if you saw me, I was Ralph Lauren head to toe! I always had a passion for starting my brand, but honestly, I was afraid of failing, so I went to work in the automotive industry as an auto painter and put my dream to the side for 40hr a week. But later in life, in 2019, I promised myself that I would start my brand, and you finally did, and guess what? It worked enough to keep me motivated and gain more knowledge in fashion, and that’s how we got to this point.

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I mean, being a small business it’s ups and plenty of downs. I feel that you have to take good with bad.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about De Luxe Brand?
De Luxe brand originally was a hat company I designed for my friends because we were always known to wear hats, but I have always had aspirations to be a full luxury brand but was afraid many years of failing. Learning the game step by step and failed drops helped me focus on making this a full-throttle brand. The brand is known for our staple vintage foam trucker with a colorful security tag being inspired by my love and respect for the late Virgil. (Off-white) but we have pushed on to vintage style tees, and we expand to some new ventures this fall. I consider this brand a blue-collar Luxury that’s high-quality fabrics like Supima cotton /6oz heavyweights tees and hoodies, our premium varsity jackets at an affordable price. That’s what makes my brand stand out. I always worked in a blue-collar atmosphere and only would get dressed on weekends but always purchased the finest of threads was lowlife (a reference to polo )at a point in time. I would read to know that we are just getting started, will continue to grow as a brand, and will aspire as people as we can.
