Meet Cheyanne Jernigan

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cheyanne Jernigan.

Cheyanne, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
It all started when I discovered that God had blessed me with the gift of being creative. I always had good ideas but never put them to use. At the time, I worked for a company for about 7 years a company that really didn’t allow me to focus as much on myself or the things I personally wanted to pursue.

One day, after being pushed to my limit at the company I decided to put God and myself first. I put everything thing in his hands and allowed him to lead the way. There were a lot of trials and tribulations that I of course went through before I got to where I am now. I had so many ideas some of which were good and some in which were bad.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
One struggle I faced was balancing. Working for someone else and trying to build your business can be tough. A lot of companies want you to put as much effort into their business which takes a lot from pouring into your own. Also, another struggle I faced was just basically figuring it all out and finding what works best for me. I had to ask myself what is something I would really love to do and make it a business for myself.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am mainly a bartender but my business mission is to offer many essentials and show others that you can do anything you put your mind to. The idea of watching people having a good time, networking with all sorts of people, and creating signature drinks excited me. So I took some classes created my own mobile bar and from there I’ve been bartending at weddings, parties, engagement parties, etc.

The one thing I am most proud of is my consistency. When have your own business a lot of things may come your way and cause you to want to give up but not allowing yourself to give up is one thing I’m most proud of? Something that sets me apart from most is the fact that I offer many other things aside from bartending.

I am currently working on selling treat boxes for holidays. My business name is called the Rebel Mixer Essentials because I’m against just doing one thing as most businesses do. If I can do it I’m going to sell it.

What are your plans for the future?
My plan for the future is to build a team so that I could move on to the next thing which is potentially opening up a recreational center that will also offer many things. Games, parties, baby showers, food drives, shelter, shows, etc. As I said before God gifted me to be a creator and I will always put my creativity to use.
