Meet Alexis Tabler of AssistantTouch

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexis Tabler.

Alexis, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I began my job as an executive assistant at my closest friend Natalie’s firm, ‘Stratejenk,’ where I worked for three years. I worked with and handled many customer accounts there. She urged me one day that I needed to start my own business, which terrified me since I was afraid I would fail.

I had all the skills and expertise, but I put it off for three years until Natalie handed me a laptop on the condition that I use it to work for my company. I began preparing and gathering all of my resources in preparation for the launch of AssistantTouch.

And on January 19, 2022, I introduced AssistantTouch. I’ve been in business for 8 months and I’m really thrilled and appreciative of how far I’ve gone from January.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Any business or entrepreneur will not always or sometimes never have an easy path. I think that nothing in life comes without challenges and that it is these challenges that make you grow in your career! I’ve battled to get clients, stay consistent, and believe in myself.

It was always difficult for me to acquire clients and close deals in the first few months of starting AssistantTouch. I kept getting plenty of discovery calls, but I couldn’t seem to secure those clients. I wasn’t posting on social media on a regular basis.

And I still didn’t believe in myself because of all of these obstacles. But I’ve gradually overcome these by being consistent and putting in a lot more effort.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
AssistantTouch assists businesses by executing all of the tasks that they find intimidating or just dislike. I provide the assistance you require to relieve you of some of your tasks, allowing you to concentrate only on building your business.

AssistantTouch specializes in more than 20 tasks, including calendar management, appointment scheduling, content creation, website creation, and much more. I am most proud of my meticulous nature. I will retry a task until I am confident that it is presentable and ideal for my clients.

When it comes to creating material for their social media accounts, I like assisting my clients in stepping outside of their comfort zone. Such as making entertaining reels and showcasing their daily life behind the scenes at work. If there are any duties you despise, I can assure you that I enjoy performing them!

I provide several packages and services to my clients in order to best meet their demands while being within their budget. I take pleasure in being reasonably priced so that you may be stress-free and live your best life.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
Natalie Jenkins, my best friend, deserves the most credit for making my business a reality. AssistantTouch would very likely not exist if she hadn’t pushed me to get out there.

My parents, Lisa and John, are my strongest supporters and cheerleaders. My friend group is also my biggest supporter and cheerleader.

Every day, these beautiful people inspire and motivate me to be a better person, company owner, friend, and daughter. I will be eternally glad to have these individuals on my team.
