Life & Work with Roxanne Galloway of Bowie

Today we’d like to introduce you to Roxanne Galloway.

Alright, thank you for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us how you got started?
My father was an entrepreneur (retired), and I didn’t realize how important it was to be an entrepreneur until my late twenties. I have been a crocheter for over 20 years, and I was motivated to sell my items until my Sorority Sisters motivated me to sell my items. I started my journal business in January 2020, which has blossomed to include planners and appointment books.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a smooth road?
Marketing and having continued support is the main struggle. I know I have a gift, but it’s hard to let people know because of the complexities of marketing.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a Crocheter, Author, and Stationery creator (Journals, Planners, Appointment books, and Handwriting workbooks). I’m proud of myself for getting this far. I have a burning desire to keep going until people notice what I can do.

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
I deserve all the credit. Only I can do what I can, and there isn’t any other person who helps me with my business except me.
