Life & Work with Rob Riley

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rob Riley.

Hi Rob, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
As a creative, there is never a time when you aren’t creating. I officially opened my business, Sound Investment Media LLC with a friend from high school in 2013. Sound Investment Media originated from the idea of creating a brand and marketing said brand. Early on our passion projects were our marketing then we began getting calls from other startups. We’ve helped over 50 entrepreneurs on their individual journeys.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
If business were easy, I’m sure everyone would own one. Challenges are welcome. Coming up with creative solutions is our main focus. We strive to make sure that a plan becomes fully realized. We’re able to learn new skills in this ever-changing field, take those experiences, and teach others.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
At my core, I am a writer above all else. If it weren’t for that gift, I don’t think I’d be as creative. I take pride in all of my creative endeavors but what I pride in most is seeing clients’ visions from top to bottom. My willingness to grow and learn with clients is what truly sets me apart in this competitive market.

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
I don’t frequent Baltimore as much as I’d like so I can’t answer my dislikes. What I like most when I’m there is visiting my family. Family is what keeps me grounded.
