Life & Work with Kevin Sinatra

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kevin Sinatra.

Hi Kevin, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Honestly… I started writing poems while I was in middle school because it was therapeutic for me.

When I reached high school, I was already masterful at trash talking and making jokes so I would see kids battle rapping at lunch and would join in and start freestyling.

I think I just accepted fate and realized from there that my making songs helped me relax and gave me peace.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?

My hardest tribulations were time, money, relationships, and life challenges always take a toll. I’m an empath so not only do I create but I take on my friends’ problems and care about them more than myself sometimes and it takes a toll on my creativity and sometimes physical.

I also work a lot and have a son so my mind is always wondering but it takes sacrifices whether it’s your time or money to be able to fund everything yourself you have to be ambitious and not be afraid to leap!

People really only see the good and no one wants to talk about the depression or the lows that come along with it but I will tell you this… I just started to accept my destiny and stop holding back and that’s why I’m the artist you see grow before your eyes.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m an artist I create music, poetry, and sometimes I play the harmonica! I’m known for “spitting” hahaha but you can say I’m active in the community too when it comes to marching and standing up for things, I feel are right.

I’m most proud of the people being themselves and not being influenced by “what’s in”. I believe my style and the topics I make music on set me apart. Some people will tell you my rap voice but I got some magic up my sleeves!

Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
Hit my manager Dizzy his Instagram is @Get_Dizzy! I have too many projects in the works so please contact him and he will talk with you.
