Life & Work with Ciera Jones

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ciera Jones.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I stumbled across the photo booth business looking for an extra income source. I did not want to do anything too strenuous, but something fun, easy, and enjoyable. Also, something that would bring smiles to others faces.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
So far it has not been too bad. The worst part I‘d say would be is getting my business out there to the public and becoming more known. As well as making myself stand out from other photo booth businesses while still being completely authentic as possible.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Professionally, I work for the state of Maryland. At a residential treatment center for kids 12-18. I am proud that I can help make a difference in someone’s life whether it is big or small. Just knowing I could help in some way.

Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
I always believe the quote “No Risk No Reward”. You never know until you try. A big risk could lead you to a bigger reward. But if not a reward a lesson so you know how to make it better the next time you try.
