Today we’d like to introduce you to Kehinde Shitta-bey.

Kehinde, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My name is Kehinde Shitta-bey, as a child, I always have it in my head that I will love to have my own business, and established my own brand and products. When I grew up as an independent lady, I was working my 9-5 job and at the same time I sell beauty products, men’s, and women’s outfits to colleagues and friends, which I enjoy doing and that was how I started gaining experience in buying and selling.

July 1, 2021, my own website where I sell handbags and other beauty products has been going well. I have been my own marketer, model, and influencer to mention but a few. The journey has not been that smooth but it’s getting better.

I put more effort to make sure I make sales and also I make research on how I can get better as a small business owner, I also strategize to deliver well as a business owner. I try to make sure I put out good content to convince my customers to get my products

The support I got from my customers by buying my products gets me going. Good feedback on my products, qualities and affordable pricing make me feel my product is doing well.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Most of the time there are challenges I face as a small business owner but I didn’t let that stop me I keep pushing myself to be successful in this area.

I market my product myself, I model my products myself.

There will be times nobody will make orders online and offline and there will be times orders will be rolling in as a business owner ups and down are going to show up but I manage it anytime it comes.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I sell women’s, men’s handbags, I started selling on the website on July 1, 2021, before I started selling online, people loved my handbags, the uniqueness is top-notch, they find good quantities in my products and the price is very reasonable… so this encouraged me to put my product out there and let people enjoy the good qualities and prices.

What set me apart from others is that they get variety, I sell handbags for prom night, buffets outing, weddings, and engagement settings, and for all these events you get the right match on my website.

The proudest brand-wise is the quality of my product I can’t stop talking about that… getting a good quality handbag at a very affordable price and the way people that have bought my products talked about it gives me joy.

People should know that buying my product will always be worth it, never regret it in anyways.

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
This city has been an amazing and supportive place to live.
