Today we’d like to introduce you to Kemoy Martin.
Hi Kemoy, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My name is Kemoy Martin, I was born in Kingston, Jamaica & raised in Brooklyn, NY. After high school I traveled down to Baltimore, MD to attend Morgan State University. I graduated with a Bachelor’s in Biology. I had a challenging time finding a career in my field, and my first job out of college was in Social Services, Shortly after working there I found out I was meant to be an entrepreneur.
I quit my job in 2013 with only $10,000 in my savings, just barely starting a new business & with a lot of faith. I’ve been a full-time entrepreneur ever since! Today, I run Limitless Enterprises LLC, which provides short-term rentals for travelers all over the world and also coaches individuals on how they can also start their own short-term rental business. I am both a real estate investor and a serial entrepreneur.
I am also a speaker and have spoken at numerous settings across the world about achieving financial freedom. I personally love traveling and have traveled to more than 40 countries around the world. Traveling widens our horizons, allows us to meet new people, and most importantly, puts us in a position to appreciate the world around us.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Definitely not, in the beginning of my entrepreneurial journey, there was a huge learning curve. I didn’t grow up in a household of entrepreneurs so I had to cultivate the right mindset. I was low on income but high on the determination. I’m an introvert & had a fear of public speaking, so I had to step out of my comfort zone and learn how to speak up for my brand.

What do you like and dislike about the city?
I love the seafood & the culture. My only dislike is it doesn’t have big-city energy like NYC, where I’m from.
