Hidden Gems: Meet Jessica Snowden of For the Love of Yoni’s

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Snowden. Them and their team share their story with us below:

Jessica is the owner of For The Love Of Yoni’s LLC. Jessica believes in encouraging women to wellness. She offers vaginal (yoni) steaming as a service and other holistic products. Yoni is a word that means “the womb” in the Sanskrit language of India. Yoni Steaming is a form of hydrotherapy that utilizes organic herbal infusions from mother earth into a warm relaxing bath that you sit over; while allowing the herbs to cleanse & detox a women’s entire vaginal canal. Yoni Steaming has been historically used to cleanse the uterus and release toxins. Jessica desires to help women meet their holistic goal by educating women on the correct foods, herbs, detox, and exercise.

Jessica’s journey to wellness started in 2017. The focus was to shift what her doctors told her about improving her health. After being skeptical at first, Jessica decided to try an alternative path. She started to receive vaginal steaming services, and after about six months, she noticed a vast difference within her body.

Jessica started to share the wealth of herbs and yoni steaming with everyone she knew, and from there, she indulged herself in studying herbs. In May 2019, Jessica started to share vaginal steaming and detox methods with women in her local community.

She became a Vaginal Steam Facilitator, in 2020, through online and hands-on training. Jessica also transitioned into an academic career and formal training in herbalism through the Maryland University of Integrative Health (MUIH), an accredited graduate school. She is now on the path to obtaining a Master of Science in herbal medicine with a focused track in the herbal product, design, and manufacture program at MUIH. She is a graduating candidate for the class of 2025.

Jessica is a Vaginal Steam Facilitator and Herbalist.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?

One thing to consider is how society engages with health. Health is not just going to the doctors once every six months or annually. Rather, it is about managing what the body’s day-to-day needs are to maintain a healthy state throughout the year. Many folks think that maintaining and managing health is a quick process and that there is some microwavable approach to maintaining health.

One of the difficulties I’ve noticed with clients is consistency and compliance with managing their overall health needs. Some people want results and aren’t willing to put in the work. I’ve had personal struggles to include Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, known as PCOS, whereby I’ve learned to actively recover my body to a healthier state by way of exercise, changing the foods that I ate, and incorporating herbs into my diet. My goal is to be an example to others struggling with reproductive health concerns as proof that the body can heal based on what we put into it. Also, to continue educating people on eating the correct food, herbs and maintaining a healthier lifestyle to manage optimal health.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about For the Love of Yoni’s LLC?
