Destiny, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Hi! I’m Destiny the Owner and Lead Licensed Esthetician at Destiny Jewel’s Beauty & Spa.
I am a graduate of Steiner Institute of Esthetics, employed for 3 years at a chain spa. My eagerness to share my knowledge with my community led to the opening of this very spa.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Starting out there were a lot of unknowns. The legal side of ownership is a bit tricky not knowing what’s actually needed to sustain a legal business. I researched and asked other business owners tons of questions. Also, in the beginning, retaining clientele was very challenging. Knowing your market is very important.

Here at Destiny Jewel’s, we are known for corrective skin care treatments. We offer a variety of skin treatments targeting acne, hyperpigmentation, smoothing skin texture, and anti-aging. Skill, knowledge, and personality set us apart from our competitors. We express exceptional customer service all while creating an everlasting experience and long-term skin results. I am most proud of the professional confidence that has allowed me to give clients an overall experience that they are unable to get elsewhere.
Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
It always makes me happy when clients recognize the results of both of our hard work. Skincare doesn’t stop in the treatment room, it’s continued at home. Knowing that I am able to build someone’s confidence with my knowledge and skill is such an incredible feeling.
