My journey with Figo Solutions LLC began from a deep passion for helping individuals, small businesses, and nonprofit organizations make sense of their finances and operate with clarity. With a background in accounting, financial management, and data analytics, I had spent over seventeen years working across diverse sectors—helping organizations strengthen their financial reporting, compliance, and decision-making processes.

Over time, I noticed that many small business owners and nonprofits struggled with maintaining accurate books, managing taxes, and leveraging financial data to grow strategically. I wanted to bridge that gap by creating a solution-oriented firm that not only provides bookkeeping and tax prep services but also empowers clients to understand their numbers and make informed business decisions.

That vision gave birth to Figo Solutions LLC, a firm built on integrity, professionalism, and personalized service. From our early beginnings offering bookkeeping and tax preparation, we’ve expanded to include business advisory, payroll services, and data-driven financial insights that help our clients operate more efficiently.

Today, Figo Solutions continues to grow through trust, referrals, and community engagement. What drives me most is seeing our clients succeed—whether that’s a small business owner finally feeling confident in their finances or a nonprofit organization becoming more financially sustainable. My goal has always been to make professional accounting services accessible and practical for those who need them most.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road, but every challenge has shaped the strength and purpose of Figo Solutions. Starting out, one of the biggest obstacles was building trust and visibility as a new firm in a highly competitive industry. Many small businesses and nonprofits needed help with their bookkeeping and other support services , but they were often cautious about outsourcing their accounting and tax needs. I had to prove not just technical expertise, but reliability and genuine care for my clients’ success.

Another challenge was managing growth while maintaining the personalized attention that defines our service. As more clients came on board through referrals, I had to implement stronger systems, and cloud-based solutions to keep operations efficient without losing the human touch.

There were also moments of uncertainty — from adapting to evolving tax regulations to helping clients navigate financial hardships during economic changes. However, each obstacle pushed me to innovate, learn, and reinforce the mission behind Figo Solutions: empowering clients with clarity, confidence, and compliance in their finances.

Looking back, those challenges became turning points that helped me grow not just as a business owner, but as a trusted financial partner to my community.

He has an MBA, also a B.Sc. and M.Sc. degree in Accounting. He is also an Alumni of American Military University, West Virginia. His expertise ensures that Figo Solutions not only provides accurate bookkeeping and compliance services but also leverages modern accounting technology to improve efficiency and decision-making for our clients.

How do you think about luck?
I believe luck plays a role in every entrepreneur’s journey, but I’ve also learned that success happens when opportunity meets preparation. You have to stay ready for opportunities in order to attract success — because the law of success always rewards the law of effort. In business and in life, everything is about timing. Just like farmers, there’s a time to plant and a time to harvest; you can’t rush the process, but you must stay consistent and ready when your season comes.

For me, I’ve experienced what I call “good timing and good people.” There have been moments when the right opportunities or connections came at just the right time, and I’m truly grateful for that. Many of my early clients found Figo Solutions through word of mouth — people who believed in my work before the company was even well known. That kind of support felt like good luck, but it was also the result of consistent effort, trust-building, and preparation.

Of course, there were also moments that felt like bad luck — economic challenges, changing regulations, or periods of uncertainty. But I’ve come to see those experiences as part of the natural cycle of growth. They taught me resilience, patience, and the importance of adapting.

So while luck has certainly played a part in my journey, I view it as something that finds those who stay prepared, keep their faith, and continue putting in the work. At Figo Solutions, we don’t wait for luck — we prepare for it.
