Today we’d like to introduce you to Steve Smith.

Hi Steve, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I started my business back in 2014 when I was in between jobs and I was looking for an opportunity to make some extra money and I landed on a cleaning service or painting houses and I decided to pick up a paintbrush and a roller and I haven’t looked back since it started off with me just painting a few rooms and now I do full paint job & now with a crew.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
In the beginning, it was kind of difficult getting clients and for people to take my business seriously and also learning different paint Application techniques to be more efficient.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I love painting a room because it changes the mood, it changes the feel of the room and I like to give people $1 million views minus the million dollar cost and I specialize in making custom interior designs one client at a time.

And the thing that I’m most proud of is that I turned an idea into an actual business and being able to network and meeting new people that I never would’ve met if it wasn’t for me having my business.

I think what sets me apart from other paneer contractors is that I’d like to give my clients realistic expectations and give them a fair price on the next project.

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
It hasn’t been any luck it’s just been hard work and perseverance and keeps pushing no matter how hard it gets.
