Today we’d like to introduce you to Mojisola Okereke.
Hi Mojisola, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
I developed an interest in baking when I was very young, I watched my mother baked while I assisted her in adding flour into the mix. It uses to be fun, and that was how I started, I baked my first cake, at the age of 12, it didn’t turn out so good because half of the cake got burnt but my family love it and ate the top part of it. I wasn’t discouraged, I kept practicing. Getting to where I am today, is with the help of God, my husband and family. They keep encouraging me to try new recipes, designs and so on.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It wasn’t so smooth when I got to America, I had challenges with my recipes, I did lots of research and made some adjustments before getting it right. Also getting people to know me and try my product was a challenge but thanks to social media.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?

Quitting my job to focus on my business was a very big risk i took and i have never regretted doing that. I believe they is always something to learn from every risk taken.
