Daily Inspiration: Meet Donella Harvey

Today we’d like to introduce you to Donella Harvey.

Alright, thank you for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us how you got started?
I started a magazine in 2010 and began promoting and interviewing local artists and entrepreneurs. Then one day, a friend of mine asked me to promote his book. I begin to capitalize on promotion and marketing, so I start the magazine into a media and marketing company. I also created a very successful podcast, but I decided to pursue other opportunities that were coming the way. I was introduced to a local designer who was having a fashion show and asked me to be a part of it, and it was awesome, so now I do modeling. I have my marketing company. I am also a content creator via social media.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road has not been smooth, although the hard work I had to endure was gratifying. There have still been ups and downs, but I conquer and persevere through it all. Things may not always work out the way you want, but they always fall into place. If you keep pursuing your dreams, they will eventually come true.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
