Hi Bria, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Haven for the Homeless is a non-profit organization designed for homeless and less fortunate people in Baltimore, MD. I started this organization about 4 years ago because I had a good and bad experience that really changed my outlook on the people that are in my community. Haven for the Homeless distributes over 200 plus meals each and every Sunday to 10 different encampments in Baltimore; Host a number of events throughout the year that helps to continue to support the homeless community. My organization was designed to provide food, resources, counseling, time, and skills to help develop healthier individuals in our communities. Given those in need a second chance in life.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
funding for the organization became a tough challenge on the day-to-day trying to continue servicing the community.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am currently in school for culinary arts. Right now, I do door dash and Amazon flex until school is over. Once school is over, I intend to cook privately for families or private events.

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
Music makes me happy cooking makes me happy. Putting a smile on someone’s face makes me happy. Knowing that I made a difference in someone’s life makes me happy.
