Today we’d like to introduce you to Alee.
Hi Alee, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself
I started fresh out of high school modeling for guys in college at The Art Institute of Pittsburgh. I found a lot of them through MySpace & Craigslist who were in photography classes advertising needing a model. It wasn’t until professional photographers started approaching me to work with them that I realized I could really do this.
I began booking more & more with professional locals, perfecting my posing & facial expressions. Once I felt comfortable enough I decided to start booking myself internationally. I’ve spent the last few years on the international modeling circuit traveling all over the world working with various companies & photographers. Making the choice to go international was extremely beneficial to my career.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has definitely been a tough journey. I’ve been turned down for multiple opportunities in the industry throughout the years. Everything from not being tall enough to have too exotic of a look.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m a professional bikini/lingerie model but I’m actually known for doing food shoots. I’ve shot with everything from honey & donuts to beer. When it comes to the industry hands down I’m most proud of landing my FHM features this past June.
What sets me apart is I don’t think twice. If I feel the direction I’m going is meant for me I just keep going & don’t doubt myself.
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
I’m really good at history & don’t have a favorite color.
