Conversations with Z GANG

Today we’d like to introduce you to Z GANG.

Hello Z GANG, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I grew up in the ’80s era when gangsta music first started N.W.A, SPICE 1, MC Eight, Dayton Family, 8ball MJG, etc. I also grew up on the southside of Chicago Harold Ickey Home Projects 2320 state St. I see it all early wasn’t any hiding we had to get it how we live (out da mud).

We respected our big homie because he made sure we ate they showed us unity and growth, I never forgot my 5p’s through life it saved me a lot of music came in my teen years when I met my big brother from the hood (BIGJUICEG) and(GANGWAYZMAZE) he was my biggest motivation cause he believed in me.

So I never give up, I continued to practice my craft n did some pretty big things I respect every artist I’ve worked with producers as well they truly help me get through a lot of stones that tried to block the path, so to all the promoters who help me book shows and get on national radio, blogs, podcast, mags, etc.

Now from just wanting to spit on that mic to owning my own label (Z-GANG ENT.), it’s still more work to do but I’m ready for everything that comes my way, and no way in hell I’m stopping now. I got Grammy music, big love, to all my supporters and fans. Mom, I love you. Free Larry Hover and a major shout-out to VOYAGEBALTIMORE MAGAZINE, I just dropped my 4th album HOME COOKING 3 THE LAST SUPPER IT’S ON ALL PLATFORMS, SHOW SOME LOVE. Z-GANG.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No smooth roads in music at all everything is a struggle but you gotta want it, you got to keep moving no matter what happens I was in a car accident that stopped my whole movement I was dead but I never give up I was back at music in a week.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I own different businesses. I own a clothing line ZG CLOTHING, LADY ZILLIONAIRE CLOTHING and I own cleaning business. I flip property, I grind till it hurts that’s what makes me different.

Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
Life is short.
