Today we’d like to introduce you to Sydney Phipps.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I was a singer on Royal Caribbean when Covid crippled the industry. For me, an artistic outlet is incredibly important and I was really struggling to find one mid-pandemic. That’s when The Magic Continues kind of fell into my lap!
My mom had the idea that I find a princess costume and sing at children’s birthday parties- well, we instead found a local girl who was selling her whole character events company. I took it as a sign, loaded up the car, and it’s been a fun journey ever since!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Surprisingly, in a Covid world – yes. I wasn’t expecting it to take off at ALL. But for the past three months, we’ve been booked in some capacity every single weekend. It’s been really cool!
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
The Magic Continues is a Princess Party service specializing in children’s birthday parties! We really strive to create authentic experiences for princess lovers of any age!
I’m most proud of my team. They can’t be beat. My cast is passionate, excited, and wonderful with the kids. It’s not even work for them, it’s FUN. They really set us apart.
Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
