Today we’d like to introduce you to Patrice & Nigel.
Hi Patrice & Nigel, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
We are two women that actually attended the same high school and have many mutual friends, however, we did not meet in high school.
To make a long story short, we were introduced to each other by a mutual friend (who also went to Poly) because I needed a new stylist. Nigel accepted me as a new client in her shop and we quickly became friends. One day, I noticed she was working and looked extra tired. I then begin to ask her about her exit strategy.
She really didn’t have any idea as to how she would eventually retire so we discussed a partnership and reinvented Pink Snob. In a nutshell, we were just two working women trying to facilitate a strategy for retirement.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, it definitely was not a smooth road. We were swindled by our first contractors who not only did a terrible job but left incomplete work & delayed our opening for months. We literally wanted to give up many times.
However, we were invested. We were then blessed to have been introduced to the contractors that reconstructed Jillys! They were awesome! They came in and fixed all the crap the other contractors did and left. They brought our vision to light!
We are forever grateful to them & we could soon so the light at the end of the tunnel of doom. We opened almost a year later but the salon came out beautifully! We are now hiring and love the outpouring of love we’ve received at the soft opening.

We specialize in all things beauty including hair replacement, natural hair care, lash extensions, make-up services, cut & color, and total hair care while utilizing polished products for individual hair care.
We’re all about keeping your natural hair healthy and replacing your natural hair with luxurious units if needed! It’s a sanctuary for our customers because they deserve it!
Any big plans?
We plan to franchise the salon. That was the goal from the beginning. We’ve branded the salon with an individual look and feel to accommodate our customer base.
We want Pink Snob to become the name & place people look forward to coming to in at least 10 states by 2026.
