Conversations with Justin Bidinger

Today we’d like to introduce you to Justin Bidinger.

Hi Justin, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
I started playing the drums when I was about 10 years old. Always have been fascinated with music.

I okayed in the band all throughout middle and high school. I started putting together a band with a few close friends a little over a decade ago. We called ourselves Cryptic Matter. We had some local buzz and got to open for quite a few national acts.

Recently when COVID hit, I decided to try and give producing a try. I went in really hard and started to learn and produce lots of different styles of music. I now currently have over 6 albums worth of music out to the public.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Being involved in music is never really smooth. It takes a lot when it comes to promoting yourself. It takes time. It’s hard to get exposure. The music market is pretty saturated so you really have to stand out.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a DJ/Producer that goes by the alias Sir Skulls.

I have been making different types of music that expand several genres. I am known for having some pretty diverse influences in my music. Not the tune is the same. I have a little bit of something for everyone.

P.S. I don’t really show my face on my artist’s social media. Hence the mask in my photo.

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
I’m going to keep on doing the things I love and am passionate about which is making music. Whether I’m successful or not does not matter. Making music is my happy place. It’s my therapy.
