Hi Brittany, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Well hello, my name is Brittany Williams currently better known as “Britt The Realtor” and Growing up in a large family as the middle child, I always dreamed of having a big house with multiple rooms. I knew at a young age that I wanted to be my own boss and help others achieve their goals. So I found myself admiring and being attracted to all things REAL ESTATE!! My many years as a customer service agent were a perfect experience for my next steps. I was starting my first entrepreneurship journey as a cosmetologist. I saved money to take my real estate classes and start my business while figuring out life as a single mother. I’m truly grateful for the support of my daughter, family, friends, colleagues, and clients. I have successfully helped multiple families fulfill their dreams as homeowners, which has allowed me to become an advocate for people looking to accomplish home ownership.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Not! I wouldn’t say everything has been smooth, but nothing worth having is ever easy.
Some of my struggles have been:
-Exploring different brokerages until I found one that was perfect for me because I’m passionate and sensitive about my business
-Walking away from my full-time job
-Understanding that success doesn’t happen overnight and every transaction will be different!

I am a skilled licensed MD real estate agent; bringing a 15+ year background in customer service and consulting allows me to incorporate best practices better to serve my clients.

Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
For me, risk-taking has always been scary, and It’s like the unknown. However, Just recently, I took a MAJOR RISK! I got over my fears and walked away from a job I’ve been at for almost 9 years. Since being in Real estate for the last past 3 years, I’ve always talked about leaving and becoming a full-time agent but was fearful of giving up my security blanket (my bi-weekly income). However, Change is uncomfortable, but it has positioned me to recognize my full potential, and might I add what a change it has been!! Taking this leap of faith, 2022 is proving to be one of my most successful years as a Licensed Realtor, and I’m excited about MY JOURNEY!
