Conversations with Antonio Hawthorne Jr

Today we’d like to introduce you to Antonio Hawthorne Jr.

Hi Antonio, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I go by Champ The General I’m an up-and-coming artist from the city of Baltimore. Starting at a very young age 10 to be exact, it was just a hobby for me until around about 15 I realized I could take it to the next level. Up to this point, I have 6 projects out currently available online. As of right now, I am working on a new project that will be coming out very soon along with some new videos.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
I wouldn’t necessarily said it’s been smooth some of the struggles for me as an independent artist are finding different ways to expand my fan base as well getting more and more creative with videos to stand out from everybody else

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a rap artist my most proud moment up to this was releasing my first album “Calculated Moves” which available on all major streaming platforms. I believe what sets me apart is my lyricism as well as my beat selection

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up I was into a lot of sports I loved playing football as a kid up ‘til I got in high school I am still a huge football fan to this day as well as basketball
