Hi 7, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
7 Drip is a fairly new Christian clothing brand. We’ve made a few sales but are still in the process of getting it off the ground. The success stories will come for sure but currently, we’re just aiming to generate exposure, brand awareness and grow our SEO. Stay tuned!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There are many struggles we’ve faced and even face currently. As of now, we believe our current website isn’t the best for conversions/sales. So we’d like to create a new website—one that is more aesthetically pleasing and user friendly but keep running into snags. In addition to that, it’s hard building a business/brand overall. You expect people to support (especially friends, loved ones, etc.), but they usually don’t. Even Jesus said he wouldn’t get any support or love from His hometown. It’s well known that most of the time, the demographic that’ll help achieve success isn’t friends, family & your hometown. That’s not always true but it usually is. So we’re navigating that and strategizing marketing plans.
We’ve been impressed with 7 Drip, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
7 Drip is a Christian clothing brand. Its owner and founder is Christian Rapper, Ryan Joshua. He always wanted a clothing brand and had many ideas on what he’d name it. Ultimately, he landed on “7 Drip” because Biblically, the number 7 represents completion and perfection. And therefore, our slogan is “Completely Perfect”. For people that want to boldly & fashionably glorify God, spread the Gospel, express your faith & expand the Kingdom of Heaven, 7 Drip is completely perfect for them! We specialize in creating cool designs for all ages and providing comfortable, fashionable products. We’re most proud of serving and honoring God—we hope and pray our clothing isn’t just a fashion statement but a faith statement and we hope lives are transformed and souls are led to Christ when people wear our clothing. We’re also proud of making the clothes as cheap as we possibly can and having a wide variety of products. We also believe that’s what sets us apart from others—our genuine heart. It’s not about the money, it’s about God and the impact we can make together. If you buy a product from us, you aren’t a customer, you’re a partner. You partner with Christ and us to carry on His ministry.
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
Honestly, outside of God, we’re pretty much solo dolo. We’re going off of God’s knowledge, wisdom, guidance and good ‘ol YouTube University. We have a few supporters and they who they are but we don’t have many. Our heart is in the right place and our designs are amazing, so God willing, the success will come. If 7 Drip isn’t successful, it’s simply because that’s not the plan God had. But until proven otherwise, I wholeheartedly believe God is backing us and has great success in store for us. I can’t wait to redirect all the glory to Him when that happens.
