Check Out SeCarr Fullenwilder’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to SeCarr Fullenwilder.

Hi SeCarr, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
I have always had much respect and admiration for many art forms. I consider myself an “artist at heart” as I’ve spent much time sketching, arts and crafts, and things of that nature in my youth. For me, to envision and then create with my hands – summarizes my passion for the arts. Once my daughter was born, capturing memories of her and her eagerness to pose for the camera sparked my interest in the art of photography. I began to learn what “professional” photography was all about, from the camera to lighting to editing. From start to finish, producing memorable images for my daughter, family, and friends to see was like discovering a “natural high.” So I began to invest in professional equipment to see if I could also produce beautiful, refined images that I had admired from other professional photographers. Making it my “business” was intimidating at first. But with a little encouragement from others and a consistent attitude towards learning something that I love, I’ve been able to establish and offer my photography business service for the last 3 years. I started with small gatherings like birthday parties, and eventually, I’ve been able to shoot a variety of areas of photography. Branding, maternity, wedding ceremony, and real estate, just to name a few. I am 100% mobile, which I love because the DMV is a great place for photo opportunities. But one day, I hope to own my studio.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a smooth road?
Photography is all about being good enough to adapt to different environments, different people, and different situations and still produce lovely images. So not every shot I take is great. It takes practice and patience, and quick thinking to be successful. So if my shots aren’t looking great on a particular shoot, I may have to redirect and start again because no matter what, the final product has to work for the client.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Self-taught professional photographer (3 years) specializing in shooting whatever you put in front of me; my client shoots have been for business branding, maternity, fashion, various party events, family portraits, real estate, and growing.

So maybe we end by discussing what matters most to you and why?
My undeniable desire is to deliver the best effort and service to each client and to give them captured moments they can enjoy for life.
