Check Out Rodesca ’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rodesca.

Hi Rodesca, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
The journey of me becoming a “photographer” happened gradually over the time span of several years. From a young age I knew art was my form of communication, my contribution; Funny enough I didn’t consider myself as a “photographer”.

Just someone with a camera that took photos of things, people & anything in-between. By investing in my passion for art in this medium I opened a ridiculously beautiful amount of doors that have taken me through some incredible experiences. Being able to call myself a photographer is an extension of who I am.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Ehh, it’s had its moments that’s for sure, especially with the pandemic. The art scene took a huge blow, still, it’s worth it. There were a few times when I stopped and asked myself if further investing in this was the smartest thing to do. For me it can get uncomfortable when you see your art as a source of income, it adds extra weight. So when that’s not a factor other obstacles seem smaller and allows for an easier space to create out of the simple pleasure of just wanting to.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?

lol but ehh, that’s a good question… what do I do.
I’m known for photography, mostly but not limited to music, portraits, events, etc.

I specialize in concert/festival photography as well as portraiture.
So far my proudest achievements include being published internationally, being on an LED billboard, and having worked as album covers on music platforms.

What sets me apart is bias, some might find what “sets me apart” relatable so I don’t know. What I do know is everything I create I stand behind 110%. It’s a part of me although that might come off as silly. A vision manifested through a lens.

Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
yeahhh, art is subjective so don’t cut yourself short.
